FRAMEWORK PLAN
Montclair to Jersey City, NJ
A vision for a nine-mile greenway connecting eight communities through woodlands, urban, industrial and riparian environments that helped civic leaders understand the potential of the site and facilitate the purchase of the land. Project work while employed at MNLA.
REMOTELY URBAN
Greater Yellowstone, MT/WY/IDA design research project that investigates places where built environment meets wildlife corridors within one the largest nearly intact temperate ecosystems remaining in the world. It sets out to understand and visualize how the built environment wildlife encounters along the way feels like and functions.
RESTORATIVE GROUND
New York, NYInjected into the urban fabric, Restorative Ground is a streetscape installation transforming a parking lane and a sidewalk into a public space that supports a variety of sensory experiences. The installation draws on ongoing research by WIP Collaborative about inclusive public spaces for populations of all ages and abilities. Designed with WIP Collaborative.
VAL PROJECT
Kaliningrad, RussiaA community visioning process for a forgotten greenway that revitalizes cultural, ecological and pedestrian connectivity along a former city wall. Visual artists, musicians, and experts came together to create an exhibition and a series of events that provided space for exploration and dialogue.
DL&W CORRIDOR IDEAS COMPETITION
Buffalo, NY
A concept for an abandoned elevated rail corridor that balances immediate community’s identity with a larger regional ecological and recreation network. Project work while employed at MNLA.
THE LANDFILL PROJECT
Queens, NYA community visioning process to imagine the future of a decommissioned municipal landfill located within an ecologically and socially significant area. Carried out in partnership with a local youth organization.

A vision for a campus landscape that will guide the evolution of Smith’s outdoor campus to meet current and future environmenta; challenges while manifesting the College’s values rooted in extensive community engagement. Project work while employed at MNLA.
